Cash or Check

You may make a gift using cash or check. Checks should be made payable to First Presbyterian Church with “FPCS” noted on the memo line. Drop by the school between the hours of 8:45am-4:00pm or mail your gift to the school directly:

Retirement/IRA Account

Did you know money from an Individual Retirement Account can be donated to charity?   

Individuals who are 70 ½ or older may make a "tax-free" gift, up to $100,000 a year, to a charity and satisfy their required minimum distribution. This qualified charitable distribution is an IRA withdrawal that is paid directly from your IRA to a qualifying charity.  This type of distribution as a gift to a charity is tax free from income tax.  The minimum age for making this kind of a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) from your IRA - a "charitable IRA Rollover" - is 70 ½, and the annual limit is $100,000.  Contact your financial advisor for further details.

You can also transfer all or a portion of your individual retirement account or IRA upon your death to First Presbyterian Christian School as a qualified beneficiary. 

Matching Gifts

Online Giving

Many companies match philanthropic gifts given by their employees, allowing you to possibly double or even triple your gift to First Presbyterian Christian School. Ask your employer’s human resources department to see if your company participates in a gift-matching program. If your company participates and is eligible, request a matching gift form from them, fill it out, and send it completed and signed with your gift to First Presbyterian Christian School.
