AFTER SCHOOL IS COOL
(Elementary Electives)

The After School is Cool (ASIC) Program is a series of engaging after-school activities offered by one of our teachers or a qualified instructor to our K-3rd grade students. Students bring a nut-free after-school snack from their own homes, which they enjoy together before starting their ASIC activities. Although ASIC offerings vary from year to year, some activities offered in the past have been: Skyhawks sports, yoga, arts and crafts, Bal-a-VisX, cooking skills, and chess. ASIC classes are offered on a “first-come, first served” sign-up basis and have an additional fee. This year we are also offering a free STEM class after-school during ASIC, thanks to a generous grant from Avista and the City of Spokane.

Classes are offered from 3:15-4:15pm. Children are picked up from their ASICs class at 4:15pm. Information will come home before each session registration begins. The first session begins in October.
