CLASSES FOR PRESCHOOL, HALF-DAY KINDERGARTEN, FULL-DAY KINDERGARTEN, AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Welcome to First Presbyterian Christian School!

First Presbyterian Christian School [FPCS] is located in the heart of Spokane, just off of the I-90 Maple & Ash St exit in Spokane’s historic First Presbyterian Church. We serve students in preschool (ages 3-5) and elementary school. We prioritize small class sizes, which allows our highly experienced teachers to know each child individually and meet them just where they are at spiritually, emotionally, and academically. We are privileged to serve a student body that spans home languages and cultural backgrounds of all kinds, reflecting the diversity of God’s church. It would be our delight to include your family in our learning community!

Parent Reviews

Our experience at First Pres Christian School spans over 5 years with two students.  Throughout that time, our children have experienced highly intentional investment in their education, creativity, and spirit—from not only their teachers but every staff member.  It has been a place where we as parents feel confident and at peace every day we that we watch them walk into school.

We’ve been with First Pres for 13 years and have two children with very different academic, social, and emotional needs. Teachers adapted instruction, communication, and support to meet each child with the right mix of structure and care. Both grew in confidence and developed a love of learning.  Our family felt known and supported every step of the way

First Presbyterian Christian School has been a wonderful fit for our family. The small class sizes mean our child gets so much individual attention, and the teachers really encourage curiosity and hands-on learning. Our child especially loves all the STEM and engineering activities. School is a place of excitement and discovery every day! What else could we ask for?
